I think she is a designer, i found one of her purses at a thrift store and i want to know if it's cheap or actually worth something.

It is the name of a common store brand of merchandise. I think it is or was stocked by some of the Mays Department Store chain stores.
I don't know whether there is a real person related to it or if it is simply a fictitious name.
The bag is not likely to be any sort to collector item, but might be a useful functional part of a daily work or school wardrobe if it is something that you enjoy.

She is a line of private -label women's clothing carried by stores in the May Department store family.
Don't think its worth anything though.

I believe she is a designer, she has other items like shoes, boots etc. She has some of her items on ebay.
