I think it was discusting first of all the disallowed goal if you watch the replay you can vidic is already on his way down and wouldnt of touched the ball so that should of counted. Yes we've seen that kind of free kick go in but who for arsenal and Man U thats it and if it happened against Man U im sure sire chewalot would not be happy about it and he would probably get his team to walk of the pitch

Once the referee walks away the ball is in play. He doesn't have to be watching and the wall of defense does NOT have to be ready.
Last year Thierry Henri did the exact same thing to United and it counted as a legitimate goal.
Lille are just such an inexperienced team they have never probably had it happen to them before.
It was perfectly legal what Giggs did.
I don't agree with the disallowed goal at the other end though. I do think that Vidic dived. But it was a very difficult one to tell from where the ref was standing. In that decision he did the best he could. Even in replay it was very difficult to tell if he'd been pushed or not.

What a douche.
Vidic was pushed. Watched a zoomed in reply.
Vidic had position, had an angle, and would have no reason to fall unless he was pushed (which, from a side angle, you clearly see he was).
Second, Giggs' free kick was perfectly legal.
He didn't need 'the green light' unless United was to ask the ref to implement the '10 Yard Rule'. As soon as the ref walks away from the ball, the ball is free to be played by United.
You could even see Giggs talking to the ref.
If you watched the game, on this rare occasion, the annoucer actually explained the rules quite well.
It was perfectly legal.
Figures. Lille almost crush our fans, they almost walk off the pitch, they tear gassed us, and yet, United get this crap.
Lille were a disgrace. Their pitch, their fans, their police and their staff.

there is nothing wrong with the goal. it was a great goal. he took it quick and there is no problem with that. and the lille goal that was called off, there was a push so i think that was a fine call too. i couldnt believe the lille coach wanted the players to leave the pitch after the game tho. haha i have never seen that before.

yeah, absolutely, It wan't fair. The referee didn't blow, the wall and the GK wasn't ready. It should have been a draw.
