First of all, congratulations on being smart enough to choose the best birth control ever..

On the other had, do you honestly think a million men would have obtained vasectomies last year if that meant they could not orgasm?

A vasectomy is painless, and it will affect a mans’ sex life none at all. There is no scar. Nobody will be able to tell, unless they look at your semen under a microscope.

The only common side effect is no kids.

As for men that have problems. The problems are very rarely more than just physiological, and social issues. Why, because some men think they are no longer men if they “shoot blanks”. Also socially they experience dating problems, because some women will not take a man seriously if he is sterile. As you may have figured, those are just social stigmas, and not real issues.

Look, if you find yourself single, and dating again, just keep your mouth shut. The women you date need not know.

I got min when I was 21. My sex life improved after I had it done, because I never had to worry about my partner(s) becoming pregnant again (that peace of mind thing). Now I am 40, and I enjoy sex as much as ever.

LOL Yes, he can still have an orgasm. I know many men (brothers, former hubby, friends, fiance, etc) who have had the V and have never heard one complain about lessened pleasure due to that, except of course right after the surgery during the few weeks that he heals.

If you are sterilized, you can still enjoy a healthy sex life. A man who has had a vasectomy can orgasm and ejaculate normally, but the semen he produces will not be fertile.

I would venture to assume that if a vasectomy disabled a man to orgasm, no such procedure would exist anymore.
