I currently attend a local community college... i currently am filling out an application for University of Buffalo.. i plan on transferring and changing my major to be a pharmacist. The problem is, there is 2 majors in this category... they show "Pharmaceutics," and "Pharmacy." Which of these should i major in? Sorry if this is a dumb question but, i don't know too much information about this.

if you want to become a Pharmacist then you study Pharmacy......not pharmaceutics.

Pharmaceutics is only a part of Pharmacy.

I would think it would be Pharmacy. Pharmaceutics is the manufacturing of medication. Don't be afraid to ask the admissions office at U of Buffalo, or you could ask at your current community college.

Pharmacy is you want to work in a drug store giving out pills.

And if you do, you might check with your local drug store - many give scholarships or internship (summer jobs) for someone wanting to be a pharmacist - of course (surprise! :=) - they will hope you will take a job with them after you graduate.
