Since you are dividing and simplifying, try to see if you can simplify from the beginning.

Change the division to multiplication first.

9 7
--x--
5 72

Now try to see if you can simplify the diagonal numbers. You are able to simplify 9 and 72. Now you have:

1 7
--x--
5 8

Now you just have to complete the multiplication.

7
---
40

Easy as pie :) Good luck in math!

63/360

The common factor is 9. Divide 63 by 9 and 360 by 9.

Thus: 7/40
