I hit my left temple with a door on accident, roughly 2, 2 1/2 months ago. I had a large bump there, it's only a bit smaller now but it wont go away. I've had loss of appetite, awkward sleepiness, random headaches (not as in nerves but just random shots of pain), and cringing .. if you know what that is, like my ears cringe and so on so forth.

I am going to get a checkup tommorow but my doctor never believes me. I just hope she'll take me seriously. What do you think it is?

DRINK WATER. it will help everything. usually a bump on the head does not have side affects for about 1/2/3 months later. this happened to my mom. she hit her head at work and thought nothing of it. 2 1/2 months later she had terrible headaches/ lightheadedness/ dizziness/ loss of appetite/ etc. i am not trying to scare you, but she ended up in the hospital. she was treated for post concussion syndrome. she was primarily treated for water intoxication, but was mis-diagnosed. she was in a coma for 24 hours. she was OUT of it...didnt remeber anything. get to a doctor before anything happens. if he thinks your over reacting, tell him this could be serious, sometimes doctors brush stuff off because they dont think its serious. and later....they figure out they should've done something. but then its too late...get to a doctor.
also! get an MRI! of ur brain, u prob have a mis- allignment of your skull. go to a chiropractror, specifically one specializing in the blaire technique. i hope this helps.

Try going to see a massage therpist who is trained in cranio sacral therapy. You may have created an misallignment of the bones in your head just slightly and it maye be corrected through this therapy. I have heard that odd symptoms such as these can often be treated by cranio sacral therapy. Good luck.

Very good answers. Always remember though that your doctor WORKS for you...sometimes you need to remind them of that. Stay put until she orders some diagnostic testing. It won't kill her. She gets money off of that.

If your doc doesn't listen you need to go to another one. Possibly a nerologist.
