I have to do an oral presentation and I have reseacrched greek goddesses from the myth theogony. I have researched my brains out on the web but I still can't find a connection with them besides the obvious that they are goddesses. My professor said something about " they all have the ultimate power of birthing". Can anyone help me? Please Please Please

Your professor was trying to lead you into a discussion of what is called archetype. Read the stories but read them looking for ways that each goddess gives birth to something, some idea or some event. Goddesses are goddesses not gods because they have the quality of having a womb and being able to give birth. Some of them actually have children and some just give birth in a metaphorical sense but that is what your professor is looking for. Hope that gets you on the right path.
You may also try searching under the terms "archetype and womb" to see if you get a stronger thread there.

If I were you I would begin by choosing a certain mythology as a starting point.

Greek would be the most common one, but it doesn't really matter, since all mythologies have the same basis anyways.

Women as stated above are mothers, and every mythology has a goddess of earth - which implies birth. Protection of children is a distinctive feature of goddesses in Greek legends. Achilles mother, Aphrodite and most of goddesses had their children as the main priority. Goddesses that killed their children had something terrible happen to them. Even despite the fact that murder was very common in Ancient Greece. It's not a lot of research, just look through brief stories of Greek mythology

No. The call is a version on Artemus, that's supposedly a male version of the call Artemis, whether it comes from the Bible, the place a Christian named Artemus is stated. Artemis rooster himself has NO connection by any potential with the Goddess Artemis and is a descendent of a in basic terms Irish custom of tale telling.

like just about everyone's said they are all related there are also quite a few goddesses who made the queen, hera, mad and was punished by her. the mother of artemis and apollo was forbidden to give birth to the twins on land. aphrodite made hera jealous and hera forced her to marry the crippled god of the forge. each and every goddess in one way or another was punished by hera because of her envious nature i might be grasping at straws here but that's what i found ;) good luck

By "birthing" does she mean creating and destroying? I guess that would make sense.

Weren't most of the goddesses related? Zeus's sisters, wife, and daughters?

They all seem pretty vain, too. Artemis, Aphrodite, Hera...all of them would curse people who thought they were better, or who just generally annoyed them. Poor Echo!

He means that they were all able to create life. Either by personally giving birth to a child or by instilling it into an inanimate form.

Birthing is because only women give birth. Most of them are sisters, they are all related in someway.
