Your body pumps blood from your lungs throughout your body. This has a lot of oxygen in it that makes it bright red. As it passes through your body, it releases the oxygen and picks up waste. As it does this it becomes a darker color.

No it's not serious.
The blood was from a vein, just below your skin. That blood appears blue when you look at your veins because it IS blue. The blood is blue because it has left oxygen in your body through your arteries. (This is probably more info than you wanted.)
The weird bluish probably turned red very quickly once it was out of your body because it picked up oxygen.

Might be fluorescent lighting making it look that way. Try an incandescent bulb. Venous blood is a dark red (crimson) in sunlight, arterial blood is bright red (scarlet).

Well, depending on the type of light you were in, our blood really is blue but I don't think I've ever heard of anyone seeing it because once it hits warmth, it turns red.

it is totally normal usually its a deep cut you see it from blood turns red when it hits the air. everyones blood is acually some call it deep purlpe almost black sometimes and dark blue

Is it possible that there was some dirt or oil on your hand before that would color the blood a darker colour?
