after the fight in the woods with the akatsuki members, ( after naruto learns the rasen shuriken ) do you think tsunade should make him a chunnin? kakashi even admits that naruto has gotten stronger then himself.

I think Naruto can become a Hokage without having to become a Chunnin or Jonin if he helped defeated the entire Akatsuki....You see even Gaara becomes Godaime Kazekage without having to be promoted to Jonin or even Chunin. :-) You can correct me if I'm wrong.

i don't think tsunade will make an exception for naruto, there's no need to. naruto is way above chunnin level anyway, he can eaasily pass the tests. there isn't a rush either, so he can just participate in the next chunnin exam.

the only way to become chunin is through the chunin exams which naruto didnt pass. Even the hokage cant advance him until he passes those. Technically, naruto is stronger than gaara (who is the kazekage) so he is probably the third or fourth strongest in his villaige already. In terms of strength, naruto is hokage level. In terms of real rank, he is still genin.

Well, you're so passed the actual episodes that it's making me want to watch the next episodes already.
Well, yeah, he would have to pass the Chuunin exam to become a chuunin, but I'm pretty sure he'll be able to, since he's gotten so much stronger. And since he is stronger than Gaara, then I think he will be able to become whatever he wants.
