With my daughter I was playing Jeopardy on Super Nintendo with my mom. I started typing in an answer when I dropped the controler because I realized I was having contractions. My mom didn't know and said to hurry up and answer because I was going to mess up the game. I told her I was in labor and she said, 'Oh well then I think we should put the game up'. LOL!

Being hustled out of my ob/gyn's office. My doctor was part of a large practice, and she wasn't there, and they were EXTREMELY busy when I went for my appointment. They did the 'Are you feeling okay, etc', but didn't do a pelvic exam. Right before I left, I asked if they'd check me because I had had a really heavy clear discharge, but it felt like liquid instead of the normal discharge. They got me in a gown and on the table, checked me, told me to cough, and asked me if I was ready to have a baby.
Since we didn't know exactly when my water started leaking, they sent me to a different hospital than I had preregistered in, so while the nurses and doctors got me on an iv and started to induce labor, I was trying to talk my husband through directions to a hospital he'd never seen.

Pacing, I hadnt figured out that I was having contractions so I was pacing. A few hours later my Mum woke up and asked if I was in labour and thats when it hit me!!!!
With the second one I was watching my 2 yr old and her Nan playing, after a few trips to the toilet with no results I realised what was going on!!!

I was at the hospital with my brother and his wife, they were having their first child. She was dilated to 6cm when my water broke...I never really had any contractions and I wasn't due for 8 more days. I gave birth 3 hours later with my 3rd a boy, my sister in-law had hers 47 minutes after me. My niece and son have the same birthday!!

I was sleeping... woke up at 4am in pain ... got up and started timing the contractions while I was online. After about a half hour of my contractions being five mins apart I woke my husband ... had a shower, called all my family and friends and my midwife... who informed me that it sounded as if I was in active labour and needed to go to the hospital right away ... I didn't believe her... I thought no way. But four hours after arriving to the hospital my second daughter was born ... go figure she knew what she was talking about... lol

ONLINE!!
I was emailing a friend from ebay who was selling me her son's clothes. I told her what was going on, but wasn't sure if it was labor. I went downstairs and did some dishes. And, checked the email again. She was laughing telling me I was a woman after her own heart shopping while in labor!!
But, the rest of the day I did dishes and regular chores. With more gusto realising I was going to bring home a baby the next time I came home!!

I was walking around Walmart, and I thought I'd lost a little bit of bladder control because I was so close (they had scheduled an inducement date for the next week if I hadn't delivered), so I went to the bathroom, then noticed on my pantiliner (that I'd been wearing just in case) that it wasn't pee...so I told my husband that we needed to leave and go to the doctor. :) It was actually kinda goofy and my doctor laughed when I told her. :)

I had just left my doctor's office and had decided to go into work to make sure that the person who took my place was handling it alright and didn't need help. My husband was in the military and we were waiting on our son to be born to move to the new base so I had already left my job.

I was about to go to bed and I felt cramps in my back about 5 minutes apart but I had been in labor for a while before I noticed.
