yeah my limewire has suddenly stopped working and it wont open up the program anymore

you need to re install the software again. for that.
1. uninstall the existing software thro control pannel >> add remove programs,
2. reinstall the software via www.limewire.com
3. enjoy downloading all over agaiN !
check your system for viruses, because viruses can distruct the EXE file of limewire , also could be harmful for your system.
install a good antivirus

Stop using limewire. It is full of viruses and many other problems. Plus they are being targeted by the RIAA. Google bittorrent for a better download solution.

well your limewire is all gone now and all your songs are to so you should consider Blubber instead of limewire
