I noticed that the spelled presidents` day sale 2 ways like presidents or president`s and the correct way is presidents`. why would they spell it wrong?do you think it is strange?

People seem to have lost the ability to spell and use proper grammer. I think the current culture sees it as not important, but to me it still looks ignorant.
I have seen this more and more, in notices, in books, in the newspaper, in serious advertisements and pleas for money.
It's sad.

I know what you're saying. I guess people are just bad at grammar. It is strange that of all the people that were probably working on those posters none of them seem to have passed English.

i don't know. there are incorrect uses of grammar and incorrect spellings all over the media. for example, there is this one car commercial that i DESPISE because the announcer says "there's seven people in the car" (or something along those lines) REPEATEDLY, but the correct phrase would be "there ARE seven people in the car".
