Okay which is better for college admission.

and I mean in a detailed concept, I have 3 questions against this choice....

1.for example if i took like 5 or 6 AP classes wouldnt that be as good as taking the IB program ?

2.or what If i maintained a 90 average in AP would that be better than a 85 average in IB ?

3. and the class and exam difficulty. --are the IB exams way more difficult than AP exams ?

it would help if you state your background (for example if you tell me if you have already taken IB/AP or plan on taking AP/IB) THANKS IN ADVANCE !!!!!!!!!!!

I want to go to UNC (not IVY college)

I need to take challenging courses because I took SATs and got only 1500/2400
and my g.p.a currently weighted is like 3.3

so what is better...
4..take AP with that type of SAT score or
5.take IB but my g.p.a may be lower than what it might be

I think AP is a better idea. I was an IB student, and not every college accepts IB scores, while AP scores are more widely accepted. Your IB scores also don't typically matter much, as you don't get your IB Diploma until after graduating. IB exams are actually a good deal easier than AP exams: case in point, I got a 5/7 on the French HL IB exam, while I got a 1/5 on the AP French exam. If you want the preparation for college, go for it, but it really depends on the school, how hard the classes are.

well for IB program either you get 90 or it's pretty much worthless. If you suck it makes you look bad

The actual class don't need
For AP you need to take about 8 and get 3 5s to ensure yourself A scholarship at a desent university.

My recommandation would be to go with AP, because class goes more in depth at the end everything will be useful in life
. I have students coming in with high IB scores, but our school has to kick them out.
