I think because Simon produced a show about the teletubbies and they are rumored to be gay as is Simon and coupled with Ryan's comments about sweetheart, I think it made Simon "uncomfortable"
Chris was saying just because I am not someone you already picked (and produced) doesn't mean I can't sing...others in the audience liked it and we can't all b3e your chosen (and gay perhaps)..

Simon produced a Teletubbies album, a fact that I'm sure he'd like to erase from his resume. Sort of takes away a bit of his credibility as a serious music producer. I still love Simon though, he's the best one on the show!

Because it was a stupid comment. These guys are supposed to be mature enough to be on American Idol not Sesame Street.
BTW teletubbies are for 3 year olds not teenagers or adults.

Because the want-to-be idols will do anything for attention, they should focuses in being a singer and learn from their mistakes and, for once, respect the opinions of the judges.
