she lived in camp verde arizona but her obituary was placed in a couple different states newspapers.. her last name was Thompkins....

At your local Library and/or local newspaper, some hold their copies back. It is a great Possibility the funeral home who handle her funeral.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother, When mine passed away, it broke my heart. I still miss her and no I will see her in Heaven. And I know you will miss yours.
