There it is. This looks pretty amazing for such a low cost as well as free shipping and I am considering buying it. However I am not sure if it has a TV tuner so I could connect a TV cable to it and use it as a TV as well. Does anyone know if it does have one?

If not, is there a cheap way I could make this usable as a TV? If so, how and where?

Thanks

That is an excellent deal for a monitor, but it is not a plug-in TV. You would need a compatible graphics card to get that option.

Buy.com does have some coupons that you could use to get an even better deal. Check out http://www.24houredeals.com/Buy-coupons-30-mer.html and see if you can use any of those.

Good Luck.

You would have to buy a TV tuner since this just has a DVI input. That is not that amazing, This week CompUSA and Staples have a 32" LCD with tuner for about $500. On that one you can just hook an antenna or a TV cable on it and it does everything you want.

By the time you add a tuner the one you found is not so great a deal.

It is a pretty good deal.. Also look at this weeks Staples ad. They have an amazing monitor (19 in) for 159.00. As far as TV capabilities, all you have to do is get a TV tuner card. They are pretty cheap (59 - 100 bucks)

the two are a reliable value for a 2" video show. BenQ and Acer are no longer the final manufacturers, yet they are O.ok., incredibly at that value. in case you are able to flow take a glance at them. look at how properly they reproduce blues and reds - those tend to be adverse in LCDs. additionally in case you will discover how properly they reproduce grays. they should look as hues of white, no longer hues of off-white. in any different case i might take the single with the better assessment ratio. this is a level of how black the show screen can get. - through fact LCDs have a staggering backlight and then block that mild to get black there is often some mild leaking nonetheless. the better the assessment ratio the less mild is coming via on the black and the extra effectual the image will look.

Have you considered calling the seller or contacting sales or customer service at Buy.com? Seems like the best way to go.
