He will openly hit on other guys at work! WOW! Quite the guts! But, I would never hit on someone while I was getting paid to represent a company. That makes the co. looks bad, you can get fired, get sexual harassment filed against you, etc..! It'd be different if I had my own store. Then, I might hit on all you ladies out there. wink wink. I would still feel wrong about it though!

I haven't admitted to him nor anyone at my work that I am gay yet. So, I am definitely not going to go to the guy and talk to him about his mannerisms so that he can say I was negatively approaching him. i could see it all now...and I'd rather not. I might just tell somebody about it b/c it makes me sick watching him flirt all the time.

And I thought I was bad for undressing people with me eyes! LOL!

haha, no he is not the reason why we have customers you silly. I work at a family place, not a place with "sales". I am just bothered because he might hit on the wrong person and get himself in trouble. And, like I said-this should not be done at work. It is unprofessional. But thank you all for your answers!

It all depends on what kind of environment it is. If his job is to sell things then let him do it his way, but it seems that most of the time you should only advance on a customer or client if they initiate it.

This is why lesbians and gay men are looked down on by straight people. Just wait until either some guy catches him outside and beats the hell out of him, or he is reported to his supervisor or the owner.

I don't know... I'm not gay but even so I'd still return to that store. It's just friendly service.

Anyway, these days he probably wouldn't be fired (as easily as a hetero man) because the company would be scared of a lawsuit...

It's unprofessional. Customers are going to start complaining soon if they have not already. So, NO, he should not do that and if you were a good co-worker you would tell him to stop.

This should not happen. The guy needs to be talked to and he needs to stop. If he continues, he needs to be fired
