i am sick of holidays. makes everybody feel they have to do something on an ordinary day really.
it seems everybody is closed all the time (banks especially ) on these holidays, and there ALWAYS SOME HOLIDAY!

Some people enjoy them. There was a time in the USSR if you missed were late on a few occassions or missed 2 days of work that you would taken away and shot dead - or sent to the gulag if your manager didn't like you.
I'd consider yourself fortunate that the state doesn't impose that kind life on you, and actually sets up days where you don't have to work and can celebrate important events in your country's history.

Yes. I am a boss of a large company and I think that there are too many holidays. I call them Saturday and Sunday.

I once worked out .. given the conditions of my job .. How many days we MUST work ( in my employment) to warrant earning our salary..and it was 190 out of 365
taking out the week-end..
taking out annual leave
taking out our 15 sick-days a year with pay
taking out our 26 rostered days off .......
taking out public holidays...
BUT while i THINK some people have too many holidays .. I reckon i work my butt off enough to warrant having all those days .. and incidently .. I rarely use my sick days.

u r very luck because u can think so. but i`m thinking that the number of holidays is not enough. we need more. thank u.
