A cow, an actual cow? Well hell, I think you should just grab some rope and get good around her neck, now lead her out slowly so you don't spook 'er, she's not gonna harm ya see, she's a good gal. Now I don't suggest the rope if she is a foamin' at the mouth cause then that thar cow's rabid ya see, so then you need ta call the pro's in, they'll shoot er with some sleepin' potion and drag 'er out, she'll wake up in the mornin' in the pasture and not no any the wiser. Lemme know how it works out.

It's fun that we have 4 days to answer lol I'll get back to you Friday
if she walked in she evidently is used to people so she may let you approach if she is nervous at all leave the biggest no all the doors open and just walk slowly and without any loud words behind her and move side to side as she looks back to see where you are so she continually walks toward any door out. Cattle have no intention of harming you so if you don't push too fast she will be glad to get back outdoors without tearing up the house.
if you have a neighbor farmer who has cows give him a call . he will be able to handle your situation. and you will have a wonderful new family of friends.

Cows love Orange Juice and Microwave Popcorn. Chances are the cow was tired of eating grass and looking for a snack. Tie a long rope onto a plastic Bucket and fill it with grass and popcorn and once she starts eating gently reel the bucket towards your position (on your porch). The cow WILL follow-trust me-this will work.

Your easiest way of doing it is to get a bucket and fill it with some oats or grain and "catch it by the belly". The cow will follow you wherever you go. For a tougher challenge get behind the cow and start saying "hyaa...hyaaa" while grabbing the tail and lifting upwards. They will not kick with their tail up like that.

Open the door and get behind her and shoo her out. YOU CANNOT HERD COWS FROM THE HEAD...YOU MUST BE BEHIND HER. Move slowly and speak calmly. Spread your arms and hands out and whistle some if she doesn't want to move and remember not to get to close (they CAN kick). Cows CAN go down stairs so don't worry about that. When you get her out call the Sheriff and report her so she doesn't run out in the road and get hit. If you can't get her out of the house safely call the Sheriff and they WILL come out and help you.

I know you're making this up. You wouldn't go to town and leave your door wide open. Anyone could come in and rob you. Also people who raise cattle keep them in a fenced in area. They don't want to lose them. If there really was a cow in your living room, all you have to do to get it out is to yell at it and it will run out of the door if it's open. Good joke.

Just pull out the vacuum cleaner and dust rags and tell him to quit loafing around and get to work. That always scared off my ex husband, anyway, and he definitely had some bovine qualities.

cows cannot climb down stairs, so if there are stairs then you are out of luck. But a good way would probably to lure it with a carrot or something

Best to get behind her and just lead her out......or...grab some oats and lead her out from the front...but watch out for your toes.
