You know who did? If not, just listen to "Stairway to Heaven". It was so good, they wouldn't let Wayne play it at the music store.

I think Jimmy Page has the most talent. He's an amazing guitarist. He created so many sounds with his guitar, like a middle eastern sound with "Kashmir" and the violin bow on "Whole Lotta Love". I just think that the sound is incredible, and that's what drew me to Led Zep.

Jimmy Page was the most proficient at his instrument and was the primary songwriter. John Paul Jones wrote as well and played a wider variety of instruments well. John Bonham kicked the drums like thunder and was excellent. Robert Plant was a squealing weenie who dressed like Jodi Foster in Taxi Driver and usually went up on songs when they played live.

I say Jimmi Page.

Page. The guitar playing goes without saying, but what puts him over the the other members is what he could do in the recording studio. It is not just that Zeppelin was a great band playing great songs; the recording of the songs and the sound of the records is astonishingly good. He was a true innovator.

Most Talent: Robert Plant
Reason: Obvious

page was sloppy as heck. he was good don't get me wrong, but sloppy. he would miss notes, even on record. live he was horrible. he would overdub 5 guitars on a record and then try to play it live with just one and it was crap. his solos, outside of stairway, never really went anywhere or sung. i love led zeppelin, but jimmy was overrated.
bonzo was the man and robert was a great voice.........but the true talent of the band was john paul jones.
he was multi instrumental, bass, keys, mandolin, even some percussion. his song writing contributions to the band were amazing and he has gone on to have a very successful career as a music producer post led zeppelin. his bass tracks live and on record held songs togther and made you feel the music. jpj was the talent.

John Bonham... With out a doubt, if you have any questions, I encourage you to listen to the Moby Dick drum solo from the "How the West was Won" album. 23 minutes of pure solos.
