Take your pasport with your valid Visa for England and go to Scotland or Northern Ireland. There are n customs between England and these places as they are all in the UK, You may have to show your pasport if you are flying to Northern Ireland for security reasons at the airports.

There is no 'border' as such as it is part of the UK, just as scotland and Wales are - only it's divided by the Irish Sea. YOu do not require a passport to travel between these countries but you should bring your student visa and passport with you - may be useful as ID when checking onto plane or boat.
Hope you have a lovely time.

What is your nationality, you say you live in England, but you don't say if you are in fact English.

If you are British, you won't need a visa, but you should always have some form of ID with you anyway.

Your passport with the student visa and a ferry ticket are about all you need. You don't need to deal with the customs office.

Belfast is in the UK. You don't need any documents. You will, however, need an interpreter. Nobody outside Belfast can understand a word they're saying when they are in full flight.

Your passport and your valid visa, you don't need any additional visa to go to belfast as it is part of the UK.

Moron! It's still part of the United Kingdom. It is no different from going to Wales...or even Scotland. However, you had better attach a label on your jacket in case you get lost as I doubt whether you have the capacity to find your way home!
