I worked the carnival one summer and it was a blast. Just type in what you probably already have done. Amusements. and Carnivals. However, there are licensing agencies in each major city that might give you names of carnival owners near you.

I know in my home town of Sandusky Ohio we are beginning to see bunches of opportunities coming to Cedar Point as they will be opening for the season here in a couple months. I worked at C.P. when I was like 15. It is a pretty cool place to work. Alot of people to look at. I even served some french fries up for Magic Johnson. They offer dorms to live in for out of towners and a bonus if you stay all season. Cant remember the bonus amount but it is paid per hr. I remember at 15, the bonus check was a pretty good one. I'm not sure but I figure they do have a link for employment opportunities on the web site. cedarpoint.com I hope this will help ya out. Good luck.

There are many benefits to working at amusement parks that are very intrinsic. Many people look at the extrinsic, which are very unrewarding at amusement parks. However, if you like to make people smile, laugh, scream, and make their day, working at an amusement park is for you. At many parks in the U.S. you must be over 18 to run rides. If you want to do something more long term than just a seasonal employment, I suggest getting a tourism management degree and then getting an internship at an amusement park. Once you get your internship, you have your foot in the door for opportunities that abound! I have not been able to find any one website for any amusement park employment. If you go to specific amusement park websites, then you will find information about jobs at that amusement park.

you definitely do not want to work at an amusement park, think of all the annoying people you will meet.
