I used DVD decrypter and DVD Shrink to rip the movie. Now, at the moment to burn the movie to dvd-r I get the error message of "Burning session failed at 8x". I have Windows Vista, Nero burning rom and use dvd-r 1-8x. I have tried burning at slower speed and I get the same message. DMA is enable and everything, I don't have a clue of what is going on. It could be the speed of the cd? Should I buy 1-16x DVD-R's? Or is something that I am doing wrong? My drive is a Multi-Format double layer optical drive.

I had the same problem in the past.. It could be the DVD's are cheap. If you are using a Sony burner, they do not like cheap DVD's. There are a few other burners out there that are like that. When I brought the Sony 1 - 16 x DVD's everything worked great! This might not be your problem.. It could also be your drive. I would try to burn it at 2x or 1x and see if it gets the same results. Hope this helps
