He's not running. He'd lose. He has 21% approval.

No he dosen't have a high enough approval rating, it would be if bush were to run for his second term (if he was still in his first), given his most recent approval rating...just one of those things that isnt going to happen. On top of that, Cheney really has not done that much, but had a few heart attacks, hide at camp david, look like a slob in front of Auchwitz suvivors, and shoot a guy in the face. So, he hasn't made enough of a public image and hes not very popular with the people who know him.

My feeling is no and no

Has Cheney ever drilled Dustin Hoffman's teeth in the movie "Marathon Man". Is it safe? Is it safe? I heard somewhere actors quit acting to run for President on the Republican party ticket thats why those Hollywood entertainment types get such a bad rap in the liberal drive by media.

If Cheney ran for President, he would probably win, that's how totally corrupt American poltics is today.

First, he needs to win the Republican primaries. To this point, I do not think that the Bush administration has had a good rep to nominate anyone within the executive branch for the primaries. Even of Cheney wants to run, he will not be nominated because of all the bad rep from the administration.

No.

Vice President Cheney has made it clear from the outset that he has no presidential ambitions.

As to the outcome, he has been so demonized by the Dem's and the media, he would lose in a landslide.

And that is truly unfortunate as, if you look at his record, he is a man who has served his country well for the majority of his adult life.

Cheney will ride off into the sunset after his term is over. The best he can hope for is a peaceful passage into the next life. Too bad so many have put a false face on him and ignored the positive things he's done.

You have a better chance of being shot in the face with bird shot than Cheney has of ever being President of the USA.

No. He will not run. Given the current political climate he would not be nominated.
