Once maybe twice
Once for sure - second time after 20 years the new SOB couldn't figure out a way to fire me so he "laid" me off. It really sucks and is hard on the self esteem no matter what the reason.

Once. This was almost 10 years ago. I was working at a Casino and I just pushed my boss a little too far. I was suspended, a few times, then terminated. I really did deserve it. I learned my lesson. No more drinking and late nights for me!

I've never been fired before, but I was forced to resign once...and the worst part was, I didn't even know it was coming. In fact, I trained my own replacement and then they pushed me out...

I hate that d*mn place for that

I was fired once... but it was only due to lack of availability and I was told to re-apply when my schedule opened up.
