It all depends on the absorbency. If they are for heavy and you are barely bleeding, no do not use them. As long as their recommended absorbency matches your flow you should be fine as long as they aren't uncomfortable.

You should wear the right absorbency depending on how heavy your period is-- which means you could be wearing different sizes (light/regular/heavy) over the course of just one period, or during different periods.
You can tell if you're wearing an absorbency that's too high if you're changing on 4-6 hours and the tampon isn't fully soaked. If that happens, try a lighter absorbency. And choose a heavier one if you have to change a fully soaked tampon in less time than that.

Try them, if they're comfortable, fine. If not, buy the ones you're used too. Chances are you won't have a problem. Just remember to change them as often. Bigger ones absorb more so need to be changed less. Just follow the directions on the box. Don't want TSS!
Good luck, wish my Mum still bought them for me!

You could try them and see. Comfort will decide if they are okay to use for you. If they are hard to use or feel uncomfortable, they are probably a size too large for you. Larger sized tampons are usually for women with a heavier period flow.

I asked a question simular. No. I don't want to get banned...so the girls with the smaller [[yew know whats]] give birth to the same size babies with no problem [[usually.]] So, the tampon *should* go through. It depends *how* you put it in. I'm only 13....but that's what I know. Go to the experts.... www.kotex.com

I"m sure the larger size would be ok. After all, most vaginal openings are large enough to fit a penis, which is most of the time a lot bigger than a tampon.

You should always use the correct size. Using the wrong size could lead to dryness, infection (if you leave it in too long), and general discomfort.

What matters is if you feel like have that big bulky thing inside of you. If not, then go and buy the correct size.

it doesn't matter, but just because they are a size bigger doesn't mean u should leave them in for much longer than usual because you don't want to get toxic shock syndrome.
