Because we get more attention from the opposite sex than the less attractive girls. We look in the mirror and see what we are and naturally compare ourselves to other girls, sometimes less attractive ones. I guess that's where the feeling of superiority comes from. Oh and by the way, I've had many ugly girls treat me really cruelly just b/c I was better looking than them...so it goes both ways.

I am pretty. And I don't act like I'm better than others. Because I know if someone is NOT prettier than me, They probably smarter than me. If I'm smarter than them, they probably good cooker than me.
But your talking about the conceited ones. I hate those types. They think they all that. It's probably because everyone keeps on envy them and telling them that they look good everyday so that's how they become conceited because they can get whatever guys they want.

I'd say I'm pretty, and I don't think that way. The way I see it is that there is always going to be someone prettier than myself. So I don't treat people any different, because someone, somewhere doesn't think I'm the prettiest in the bunch.
I won't want someone treating me differently because I'm not pretty enough, so why would I treat someone else like that.

first maybe not ALL the pretty girls think thier better than others.
its not cause they're pretty its because people are attracted to them. remember its on the inside that counts...you get a pretty guy/girl then they're really jerks :| or its probably cause people give them too much attention, like guys..or anyone else that feels attracted to them.
once that happens, they get used to it...and then they expect everyone to like them..

It's been my experience that girls who get a lot of attention for their looks are actually more insecure and think they are worse than everyone else. They compensate for it by trying to put up a good front, or by being toxic to other girls.

Some do & some don't for whatever reason. Maturity has a lot to do with it. Remember this, beauty fades & dumb is forever. God made everyone pretty enough for practical purposes.

why sterotype pretty girls for? dont generalize i see ugly girls thinking they are better than pretty girls. pretty girls are human beings just like anyone else

Well not all of them think that, most of them think otherwise. They just have a low self asteam and they act this way to make their self asteam go up.

they're not open minded. let them think that as long as they want, it will never be true. they have to tell them selves they're the best every day to keep happy!!! they won't get very far in life if they can't get along with people.
