Is the Democratic Party designed for Women and the Republican Party designed for Men?

It does kind of seem that way. About 75% of the Republican Party are men while about 65% of the Democratic Party are females.

No.

The Democratic party is designed for both genders. The reason more white males tend to be Republican is because males have more of a problem in dealing with ego versus females.

I will explain. The Republican party has successfully been able to trick white males into thinking being a Democrat is not manly. Testosterone is blocking their minds from being able to think this through rationally.

The Democratic and Republican parties are open to everybody. It just so happened that the best Democrats now are women and men are dominant in the Republican party.

Perhaps it is the lack of leadership by the democrats that draws women while the republicans hold their positions and do not let the media make their decisions and that draws the men. Women like to keep confusion in the picture while men like simple things. The party is not the basis for electing someone it is supposed to be their qualifications. In today's world it is the ability of candidates to please the media, at the expense of the public that gets them coverage. When the time comes to get things done the actions of those who play to the media will cost them dearly.

Democartic Party seems more open to the women involvemnt and to cease the oppresion that exists upon them. I'm not sure if those statistics are still right however, with more people split ticket voting rather than straight ticket.

1) Where did you get these numbers? They look like POOMA's to me.
2) There has been a gender difference in voting patterns in recent years, but no the size you suggest.

Both parties are for both genders.

I think women tend to be alittle more open minded than men- and as a result, they tend to vote more democratic. (They also tend to vote the way their husbands do...- so alot of that bias gets cancelled out). With Hillary running for President next year- it'll be interesting to see if more women will vote for HER- because they see her as one of THEM.
