Wow, this is a really deep question. I guess you could say that the question "why?" framed the entire history of Man. "Why can't we have fire?", "Why can't we travel across water?", "Why can't we fly?" It opens up a million new possibilites. It also helps us understand more about ourselves. "Why do we have 2 arms?" "Why do we travel on 2 legs?" "Why do we only have 2 eyes?" The question "Why?" can have billions upon billions of answers. There never is one real answer to the question "Why?"
