The lost tax revenue from people quitting smoking is exceeding the money spent on treating smoking related illnesses. The whole idea of banning smoking was the cost of taking care of these people who smoke. I foresee the government campaign against smoking will begin waning soon, very soon. I think most public places should have designated smoking areas. I quit over two years ago and will never smoke again.
