how did you get your first job as a vet assistant, did you have previous experience, schooling, or how did you get your foot in the door? what do you recommend for a person with only customer service experience to get a foot in the door as a vet assistant? a day in the life of a vet assistant....what is your day like? what do you do? do you have medical benefits as a vet assistant?

Best advice for getting your foot in the door is volunteering !!!!! i know it sucks cause you dont get money but you will never get a better experience and your questions will be answered in noooo time. Hey you might even get a job out of it!
