Braylon Edwards is a very skilled reciever, as you all. But my question is, why is he dissapointing, is it him, the quaterbacks, the coaching? He was dominant in college, and ive senn great flashes of him the past 2 season. Bu his temper and frustration have been a problem of late. I believe if he were on another team, possibly any other team, he may be doing better, any thoughts?

My thoughts are that the Browns are cursed. They draft stand-out players when it comes to positions like QB, WR, and TE, but they somehow don't realize that those players don't make up the core of your team. They need to focus on the Offensive and Defensive lines before worrying about their quarterbacks and receivers. A better o-line gives your quarterback more time to make a decision, without worrying about getting the crap hit out of him. Maybe THEN he (whoever HE may be next year) can connect with Edwards to make important plays.

He needs a quarterback to actually get the ball to him. The Browns have a few weapons on offense. With a veteran quarterback and some order on the offensive line, they could vastly improve. But yeah I do think at this point Braylon Edwards would be better off on another team, unless the Browns make the neccessary changes.

Well not sure he would be any better on the Raiders, since you said ANY other team. On most other teams though he probably would be better. Injuries pretty much junked the Browns season last year. Although if I was a Browns fan I'd be thinking that either Crennel or Savage better be looking at the door if things don't go better this year. When you are at the bottom and as bad as they have been the last few years the Coach or GM are the problem, or maybe both are.

Just because a player was dominant in college will never mean he will do anything at the pro level. Part of him not having success is that he doesn't play on a very good team. That and his attitude hinder his growth as a player. He may never reach the point in his career that everyone thought he would when he was drafted. Great players will make plays on teams even if the team isn't very competitive. The jury is still out on Edwards.

He hasn't had the chance to grow with ONE quarterback. I think they've had three (at least) different QB's during his few years with the team. If you're a young receiver, it's hard to grow on a QB in such a short time.

I think if you get him going with either Frye or Anderson, you'll have a dangerous combo. But until then, he will be an above average "fantasy player", you might say.

I am a Michigan fan.My opinion is part Qb,part O-line,and most of all his ego.Once Brayland realizes he is not the best wideout, and gets his head together he has the ability to be realy good

probably its the QB. he never even had a average QB throwing to him. now that they have winslow, it should open up for him. if they get quinn, maybe it will help him.
