Extremely retarded question, but can a player on a 10-day contract be traded?

For example, Von Wafer just signed a 10-day contract with the Clippers. Could the Clippers trade him to another team on his 9th day or whatever?

Yes, though very unlikely a player with a ten day contract could be traded. A ten day contract is as binding as a contract of any length by NBA standards. It would be pointless though because a team can simply wait out a ten day period and sign the sought after player.

Well if he was traded on his 9th day on the contract, he might not even be able to make it to the traded to for the next game, and probably his contract will expire. Don't think it's really possible. And in the first place, I don't think any team would want a player of that low-caibur and short contract.

in theory I guess of course his contract would only match up with another player on a 10 day contract

not worth it as a team could just try to outbid for him after the 10 days

Yes it is possible on the 1st-6th day but after its not because it usually takes like a couple dayts to file all the paperwork. plus who wants another 10 day player????

No point in answering a question like this because something like this would never happen.
