Do u think they actually count votes or is the season rigged from the beginning? Personally I think its rigged from the get-go. Theres no way they count up ALL the votes for EACH person even if it is done electronically. Thats insane...what do u think

Well, personally, I think every contestant has a fair chance of becoming the next American Idol. But, your question can't be answered correctly by the people out here on the web. All of us on the Internet have a different opinion about your question. Mine is, technology is a truly brilliant thing. Counting the votes would be easy. Every time a caller gets through, a mark would be put up on some object. Thanks for asking the question!

I believe to get the top 24 that they do a web search, look on youtube, and their MySpace profiles to see who has the most hits. The ones who get the most hits are selected to be in the top 24 for votes and ratings. I do believe, however, that votes are counted for the remainder of the show. It may not be exact, but I am sure their is such a big number of votes for some that they don't need to count them all.

I think you have a warped idea of what is possible these days. We elect people in a day. They can certainly count these votes in a day. You just don't like the winners. They make money off of the fact they are winners. It is like only betting one the sure thing. Why would they care who wins if they know they will make the most money if people already like that person? Think about it.

I believe that American Idol is not rigged. I do not know how they count all of the votes but apparently they do.

i don't think its rigged, and i do think that they count all (or most if there was an overflow) votes. however, i do think the production seeks out a favorite when the top 12 is formed and pimp the hell out of them so they could win, last year it was Chris and Kathrine, i think they both sucked.

just like you have a counter on your blog , technology is a wonder full thing, i think it is possible, that all is counted, do they report the right numbers, who knows...i hope what is reported is right , they are a to big of a show to lie
