I heard that wario is a unlockable, playable charatcer in melee. If it's true how do you unlock him?

He is definitely not a playable character in Melee. He will absolutely be in Brawl

Wario is an unlockable trophy but not a playable character.

No he's not in melee but he will be in Brawl though. I saw him in the trailers. Can't wait to play Brawl, it's going to be AWESOME!!!! :))
