When your answer to a question has a thumbs down? Lol....Does it bother you? Do you care?

It makes me laugh too, lol, and someone randomly just put a thumbs down on a bunch of the answers to this, which really made me laugh...lol. I usually dont put a thumbs down unless I completely disagree of the person is rude. I give a ton of thumbs up, though.

It used to, because I don't understand why some one would give me a thumbs down for an opinion. But I decided, that in an open forum like this, there is a thumbs down troll - and it just tries to make most of us mad, so It really doesn't bother Me, because someone just needs to take their frustrations out. Better in this way than on their dog!

I'm not really bothered at all...
having a "thumbs down" answer isn't always meant as true...
I've seen good answers with a thumbs down...
I've also seen all answers to a question having at least one thumbs down...
so why believe it?

Some people will give good answers 'thumbs down' either out of envy or spite. Some people are here to help, others to attract attention to themselves and cause trouble. Such is human nature, and such will be the case with anything and everything.
You just have to ignore it.
Kind of like the people that come and give you the utmost worst answers when you have a serious question.
Just ignore it.
P.S. No, it does not bother me.

Not usually, most things I get a thumbs down on are just silly questions and not times when I vent.

I usually feel with my hands , and I get discouraged when I scroll down and see a lot of thumbs down on alot of good answers on this question

well you know it does bother me sometimes but you have to respect there opinions,.. knowing that you helping them is not a good idea at all. If you get thumbs down you have to you know accept it because its life sometimes people appreciate you sometimes they don't so just be ready for this kinds of situations.

It depends...sometimes, in the Politics or Religion section, you know you are going into 'enemy territory' when you answer a certain question. In that case, thumbs down are almost a badge of honor.

sometimes it doesnt bother me if i know my answer was a sarcastic or silly one. But if im really trying to help a person and get a thumbs down, yeah it does bug me.

I feel like a million, feel like number one. The blogbaba likes opposing argument, sometimes he actually reads the insults from the neo-conservative right wing elitists who give his answers thumbs down. It really hurts when Yahoo answers flag your answer though, it kind of makes you wonder if their not too conservative, maybe they saw what Cheney did to Wolf and are afraid to offend him.

Thumbs up or down really doesn't mean anything to me. I really can't worry about low-class devilment that is meant to harass. Children will be children.
