I'm making a cd for someone i love, because i messed up, and i need some good "im sorry" songs. Newer aged songs please. Things like "Let Love In" by Mat Kearney and "Cant Let Go" by Landon Pigg.... help?!

I think the "Let Love In" song you are referring to is by the Goo Goo Dolls.
But Mat Kearney is a good choice. Try "Nothing Left to Lose" or "In the Middle".
Also, maybe The Fray?

There is a song by Ginuwine called "I'll Do Anything/I'm Sorry." It is an up-tempo r&b song and and then there is one by Boyz II Men called "On Bended Knee." That one is more deep and it is slow and very beautiful. I hope these two help.

its not exactly new,and i'm not sure if its what you're
looking for since its more of a song for 'teenyboppers'
but The Backstreet Boys' "Back to Your Heart'' is a good song.
