yes yes yes!! i have worked in retail for about 5 years and i finally got a office job after my studying and i am SO HAPPY that im out of retail! People are horrible in retail especially around christmas time!
People turn into monsters when there are sales on or any sort of holiday! Plus they bring their little monsters with them which makes it so much worse!

Hey I worked at Kmart for 1.5 years & I loved it up until 2 of my work colleagues left. After that i hated it becuase the people they hired were just not the same. The actual work load was easy & because i got to change around the tasks i had to do, it made it more interesting. It really depends on the people you work with if you like your job or not. I worked in a t/away shop & hated it because the people there were mean & soooo uptight! Thats my say!!!! ;)

I once worked at McDonalds. I've never met such a bunch of freaks in my life as the customers who used to come in there.
Fortunately, it gave me a good grounding in customer service for when I got a proper job.

I do not care about working at retail stores because there are assholes and I rather do graphic design and dance than waste my time with slave jobs.

I worked at walmart 2 diff times (dummy me) and both times it stunk! Managers are so full of it and they think they are always right (don't they always). And also, I just don't like being around a lot of people, especially rude ones or ones that are smart allecs.

When I was 16 I worked at Sizzler and it sucked. It was my first and LAST retail job. I imagine it could have been worse if it were like McDonalds or something.. but those jobs are gross. Customers are rude and impatient, they think they're always right, and the pay sucks.
I know this especially b/c I am a customer service rep's worse nightmare... I give retail employees hell when something goes wrong... you'd think i'd be more sensitive.

Too many people are rude. Walmart tends to work you just under the mark for benifits.

If you hate it, you should work there.
I've worked at MCD many many years ago. I don't hate it. Small task for low pay, that's all.
