My wipers will turn on by themselves, i took it to the dealer to check it out. they said it didn't do it. anybody heard of this or experienced this... it 's not a ghost!!! any ideas ???

If I were to take a stab at it, I'd guess the multifunction switch could cause this.

I believe there are technical service bulletins on certain f-150 models due to a short in the circuit board of the wiper motor.
Buy a remanufactured wiper motor and have it installed. The remanufactured wiper motors have updated circuit boards.
I suggest having ford run your vehicles vin number and see if this recall has already been performed on your vehicle. If not, the repair may be at no cost to you. Call Ford first and have your vehicle identification number handy.

I had a 99 f150 that did the same thing. You would drive down the road and they would move once then stop, then do it again at different times. Its a short in your wiper relay, so just go buy a new one and your done.

2 thing could cause this ,,a bad wiper swith, are the wiper motor got a short
