P.S. New Mexico's motto really mean s Land of Entrapment. Whoever came up with enchantment must of been on L.S.D or crack,but don't see anything about plains orhigh desert ecpecially interesting.

You've obviously never lived in Kansas. The weather here in New Mexico is a piece of cake compared to Kansas! At least we don't get hail storms, tornadoes and blizzards, the hail is rare and the snows are manageable here (when we get any).

New Mexico is in the lowest part of the Rocky Mountains, and down by Lordsburg along the Continental Divide the wind picks up as it gets squeezed through the pass, called a gradient, hence your crappy weather.

New Mexico doesn't always have bad weather. The snow is welcome, There's a bad drought. Move to a big city, maybe somewhere in Texas. Sorry bad weather, Colorado is good. Denver is nice.....

new mexico sits on the bottom of the jet astream for the rocky mountain wind current hence you will always get weather that is rainy,snowy, and nasty
