what is a good place to visit? i'm from australia and wanna go traveling, am i better off going by myself or with someone? ; )

A good place to visit I would say is the United States. It is relatively safe here...compared to other countries, and there is so much to see from Seattle, to San Francisco, Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon, Florida, Chicago, and New York. You would probably need two weeks to see everything, but I'm sure it would be worth it.
Definitely go with a friend or family member. People, no matter where you are, will always take advantage of a woman that is traveling by herself. All you will do is put yourself in danger of getting stalked or mugged, etc. no matter what part of the world you decide to travel to.

Definitely take someone else with you...No matter how independent you think you are you're definitely going to enjoy yourself w/ someone else... Someone else to party with, sight see with, exchange ideas and hang out in whatever place you chose... The experience will be that much memorable if you travel with someone else! I have traveled out of the country a couple of times and not with best friends but with casual friends who just happened to have same vacation times as me and same likes- We had an amazing time! Go ahead and find yourself a vacation buddy, he/she does not have to be family or best friend, but it will help if you knew a bit about them! :) Have fun!
If you like the Caribbean go to the Bahamas or Puerto Rico... Beautiful, tranquil beaches.... If you want to stay close to home go to Spain,London or Paris or come to the States to party- New York City baby!!!

Hey, Well I think its always good to take someone with u so ur not alone but if u have someone go with u....u can share the fun time together....so I think that u should bring someone with u one so ur not alone and also then nothing could happen to u so ya take someone it would be fun!!! We have fun were ever u go!!! and GOOD LUCK!!!

If you not familiar with a area, bring a friend who knows the area or a guide. Were to go is easy. Japan is nice, new york, any place were theres alot to do. But if ur looking for a more quite "green" place, im not sure.

In this day and time I would be best if you go with someone and this way you have someone to enjoy the trip with. I would go to the Grand Canyon in the Spring.

Depends what you want to do. If you want to do slightly unusual things then go by yourself. Actually the more things there are to do the more likely you would rather go by yourself. For instance I like going to Vegas by myself because I want to see everything at my own pace. Going for a hike in Peru I would rather go with someone.

you a woman . you should either go with someone or go on a group tour. don't take chances.
the person you go with doesn't have to be a great friend nor do they have to go everywhere with you but you need someone to be aware of your comings and goings. that's life.
