mine almost did once.. my kitty verruca was smashed by something very heavy when she was about 1 month old. all i could do was hold her and cry. i tried by best for her, but she died the next day. (she was at the vet when she died otherwise i would have been holding her)

but i would have cried until reality hit me and i became aware that i was holding a dead animal. then id put her down and cry a few inches from her while my husband did whatever needed to be done (call a vet, or pet disposal... whichever would have been the case)

I had that happen not too long ago..in December. I'm 32 and cried like a baby for three or four days and still tear up when I talk about it. We had him cremated so he could stay with us. What a great dog.

Thats happened to me. On my birthday a few years ago my pet hamster died in my hands and I knew he was dying. It was terrible. It ruined my day. Not a good way to spend a birthday.

I cried as I brushed my cats fur one last time. Then I wrapped him in a soft little blanket and held him for a few hours, until his body was no longer warm.

It HAS happened and it was very scary because I couldn't do anything for him. I even tried CPR, but he still died.

I would suffer from all that weight. Silver is a very heavy horse. I guess I'd say, "Bye Yo Silver!"

This happened two months ago. I never want to go through something like that again.

release their soul into the light and bury them in my garden, then i would write a tribute on the rainbow bridge.
