As sad as it is to say.....if America can't beat a bunch of hoodlums in Iraq...then we have a serious problem.

The British people are against the Iraq war....that's why they are beginning a slow withdraw. Even the Brits know there is no final plan for victory.

They aren't leaving for sure! Here's a little cut from the article!

'Blair will also tell the House of Commons during his regular weekly appearance before it that a total of about 3,000 British soldiers will have left southern Iraq by the end of 2007, if the security there is sufficient"

Notice the end of the sentence!

Interesting.

I wonder if the families of the soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, particularly the families of those who have been wounded and died there, agree with your assessment that it is not a real war.

But, thank you for your enlightened, illuminating and unbiased contribution to the national dialog.

Britain has less than 7500 troops in Iraq. Those that remain are helping to secure "green" provinces in the south of Iraq. They are woirking along side the Iraqi troops and police. When it is time for them to leave the Iraqi forces should be able to handle it.

They aren't quitting. If you would actually bother to pay attention you would know that the British troops are leaving an area where it is secure and the Iraqi's have taken over security.

The British are leaving because they have achieved one of their objectives in securing southern Iraq. Just like we will be doing after we help to secure Baghdad. Wake up!

That's an ... interesting ... version of the facts. It doesn't however square very well with reality. You may wish to reconsider what you made of what was actually stated.

listen... the Iraqi Freedom Fighters
have already given you the terms of surrender
"leave all your weapons and equipment and leave immediately and you will not be harmed"

finally the Brits and the Yanks are brought to their knees
for their International Lawless Terrorism

Shame on America, a people that was once righteous and free
and now have been turned into a Rogue Nation
who claims to be above the law and attempt to rule the world by the "RULE OF POWER" mere gangsters with powerful weapons.

We already have killer bees. We do just fine. We always said we would go it alone, as we have in near everything we do. I call that BRAVE, STRONG, ABLE, WILLING, CAPABLE, INTENSE, RIGHT, READY, CONCERNED, DETERMINED, and JUSTICE. WE WILL PREVAIL! WE ARE AMERICA! We will do our duty to our people, and be PROUD! (The Brits will stay with us, always have, always will, they're sick and tired of terrorism, too).

If the British are "quitting" anybody it is the Americans they are "quitting" , not just the Republicans.
