Dissonance is lack of agreement. So was the lack of agreement able to be resolved or fixed.
In other words, are the differences able to be solved; will they be able to come to an agreement.

It has to do with music. Dissonance being two notes that are not in harmony with each other - but in most cases the progression of notes resolves or leades to notes that are in harmony.
