Sadly some politician are corrupt. The U.S. government is not made up of just elected officials. They are a small percentage of a whole entity. That entity is the American people. The great thing about our country is we control the government. They work for us. So to answer your question? NO..We are not corrupt. We are the most giving, compassionate and generous people on the planet.

American politics is corrupted to a point, but it is the best system in the world. The main issue is that big money interests have taken over politics. In other nations, the military
overthrows the government, this does not take place in the U.S.
Our system of government has its flaws, but it can be changed with some grass roots activism because we have freedom of speech. With some research, you will find that the U.S. political system, by no means perfect, it still is one of the best in the world.
In Russia, the government of Vladamir Putin has pushed back
democracy and China is far from democratic.
Africa has its dictatorships and bloody civil wars, and the Middle East, no freedom of religion. Not once has the president been overthrown by a
coup de tat here in the U.S.
Just follow the money trail and see how your local or state politician votes. Who supports the candidates in your area?
People from other nations cannot possibly know the true state of American politics, it can be influenced by anti-Americanism and not logical and through research.
If you want change in American politics, the best weapon is knowledge and working with others to make positive changes.
It is never too late to change course and make things better in our free nation. You just need to be positive and never give up.
You must never give in to the paranoia that makes up the far left and far right of politics. Our nation has changed for the better since the end of slavery and women's rights, anything is possible if you just believe.

There is no such thing as a government that is not corrupt. I still consider the United States government to be among the less corrupt.

most political systems are corrupt, but i cant say from personal experience that our government is, though i have heard stories
for example, the present administration has supressed scientific findings so that their own policies would be supported
