Who's going to be the most productive this season: Howard, ARod, Ortiz, or maybe Santana?

For me, it is A Rod! He has a bad year and he does more than the others listed. Howard will come back to earth. Santana is a stud, but he is a pitcher. I like Ortiz, but I think A Rod does more. Plus, he can opt out his his contract if he wants after the season...so, he is in a contract year!!! Even Crawford should probably be considered, but I say A Rod!

With Derrek Lee and Aramis Ramirez to drive him in and Lou Pinella around to get his average a bit higher and being on a club that may win the division, I think Soriano is primed for a .285/40 HR/110 R/40 SB/100 RBI year. I would pick him if you don't take Santana (most starters just aren't a good risk this early, but Johan might be).
But I would take Pujols (320/40/120 LOCK) and Reyes (310/25/80/70 potential, with 290/20/75/50 LOCK) both over Soriano.

Reyes shouldn't go number two! Besides that, I'd take either Soriano, Rodriguez, or Santana. Probably Rodriguez. He plays third base which isn't as deep as pitcher or outfiled. Also, he should hit for a higher average, power, runs, and RBI than Soriano. His stolen bases, however, will be around 20 behind Soriano. Santana is another intriguing pick. He is by far the best fantasy pitcher, and has pretty much no risk. Still, pitchers are easy to get in mid-late rounds. A-Rod should be your pick.

I'd go with Arod: You're assured 30+ HR, 100+ RBI. Plus he's been healthy his whole career.
Howard would also be a strong candidate, but I wouldn't be surprised to see teams starting to pitch around or walk him.
Ortiz always spends time on the Disabled list for some reason or another during the season and depending on your league, pitchers tend to be plentiful in the later rounds.

Depends what you will take with your later rounds. Here are a few suggestions.

Santana - Can not go wrong with him. Will give you a solid 7 inning 8 strikeout performance every game he is out there. You can also count on 18 + wins if he stays healthy.

Soriano - 40 - 40 man

Howard - Up and coming superstar. Will get pitched around a lot and does strike out.

A rod - Still an unbelievable player who should rebound.
