Great explanations as to what a cell is, buty why?

Because we are multicellular. We have specialized cells that work together to form tissues. Tissues form organs, organs form organ systems, and those systems work together to form the complete organisms. That is highly complex.

One cell may start with the complete genome (and deactivate much of it), but one cell cannot perform all the jobs of an organism.  Probably the only way a complex organism can function is by "division of labor", where cells specialize to do specific jobs.

Seriously, could one cell do the jobs of an osteoblast, a lymphocyte and a billion neurons... all at once?

EDIT:  Some single-celled organisms have much larger genomes than humans do.  The "division of labor" approach may actually be simpler in some ways.

well we complex as we are made up of these individual cells that each focus each on just some of the information that they have stored in the books of their DNA.
THus cells in a particular region eg. cells of the eyes, will only protray the information that they have for the eye although they have information for the heart and anywhere else in the body.
We are considered complex on a cellular basis as individual cells work in such a concert for the overall function of us as an organism

DNA and Genomes, which are inside cells, are one of the most complex things out there.

we have a complex genome of 3billion Base pairs and so we are complex creatures and the information in the genome itself puts us to be in the multicellular category, animals are actually beings of cells grouped with perfect co-ordination and communication that made us to be the complex organisms

the information in the single cell is complex
