On Sept 10th, 2001 Donald Rumsfeld announced that the Pentagon had lost track of 2.3 trillion. That's 8,000 for everyone in the U.S. How could they lose track of that much money and why has there not been a formal investigation. This is not a conspiracy theory, this is fact.

Good Question, unfortunately we may never know.
Some thoughts though, I betcha good ol Paul Wolfowitz has a good idea. Pnac co-author and grease ball extraordinare. Isn't funny that any fact based question becomes a whacked out conspiracy theory to George bush supporters?

That's way too much money for just one company, even one the size of Halliburton. President Eisenhower warned the country about the military-industrial complex, but we don't appear to have listened.

I would think that if it was on Sept. 10.. He would more than likely trying to find the money that was spent in years before he had taken over .. He would need to know this before he could stop it ..I think the article you are talking about was prior to the bush administration getting to office .. sounds like this has Bill Clinton all over it...
