Hey, Becca, I can tell you a lot more about the effects of child abuse if you email me at krazykiddz@yahoo.com. I was also abused, and have gone through a lot to get where I am. I would LOVE to hear from you if you're willing. My name's Shelly, and I'm 17 (18 in 14 days) and I'd love to talk more with you about it. Don't be bashful. I'm totally open. :) I've taken a lot of psychology classes, and have studied abuse extensively. I plan to become a therapist, but am a great friend too. I've had a lot of personal experience with abuse, not just me, but family members and friends, and I can have your answers or where to send you for better answers. :) Seia soon!

Thing that happened in the past can affect people differently. Being molested as a child could have an impact on your behavior and possibly make you feel tense, anxious, etc. If you feel that this is affecting your everyday life, I would suggest for you to speak to a counselor or therapist.

I'm not a psychologist, but I have taken psychology classes. Any kinds of abuse/trauma in childhood will have some kind of affect. It varies widely though.
