Multiplex (along with a load of other firms) tendered a bid for the contract of building Wembley.
The FA choose their bid.
However Multiplex have had problems and cost over-runs.... which means that all the excess costs have had to be paid by the Multiplex Australian companies own profits and reserves and shareholders.
The FA hasn't had to cough up an extra penny. Multiplex are down massively on their bid for the contract... they have effectively paid the FA millions for the honour of building it.

No, but you can bet the football league will rip of the fans to cover any losses the baffoons might occur.... watch ticket prices rise with the old .... well if you want the best etc'etc' crap
